Ota Mental Health Forum Updated

Occupational Therapy Australia is pleased to invite you to participate in the OT Mental Health Forum 2022 on Friday 25 November in Sydney.

The forum, featuring oral presentations, poster displays and occupation stations, provides the opportunity for us to come together and exchange ideas, to share practices and challenges, to network and meet new colleagues and to learn from an exciting array of current OT mental health practice and research activity.

The theme for this year’s forum is Vision for the Future.

The last couple of years have thrown enormous COVID-19 related challenges our way. These challenges have forced us all to adapt and creatively innovate in the moment. We have therefore chosen a theme for this forum that inspires us to share and reflect together on those wisdoms, innovations, and challenges and to explore together how these will propel us forward as a profession.

This forum will support us to build together a hopeful, expanding, innovative future vision for occupational therapy leadership across the diversity of mental health practice contexts.

The program this year promises to be motivating and inspiring. Every time the forum is held, more occupational therapists, across increasingly diverse areas of practice, present the amazing work they are doing. This growth reflects the ever increasing and diversifying roles of occupational therapists in mental health and this year we are delighted to come together with the forensic occupational therapy mental health community.
