WFOT and the World Health Organization continues its official collaboration.

WFOT has been in official relations with the World Health Organization since 1959. The relationship is subject to a triennial review based on agreed outcomes that form a joint collaboration plan. Following a review, WHO agreed to retain its collaborative status with WFOT and commended the continuing dedication of our organisation in supporting the work of WHO. Marilyn Pattison, WFOT President stated “I am delighted that both WFOT and WHO continue to maintain a mutually important and productive relationship. WFOT is the official international organisation for the occupational therapy profession and continues to represent and demonstrate the importance of the profession in improving world health and wellbeing”
