Along with the rest of the world, WFOT has been following the traumatic events in Ukraine. Our thoughts are with the communities and societies that are affected by this devastating war.
WFOT is collaborating with the WHO Rehabilitation Programme/Emergency Medical Teams initiative as part of its humanitarian response to the situation in Ukraine. We are in regular contact with the Ukrainian Society of Ergotherapists to offer assistance and support.
WFOT reaffirms its condemnation of all actions or circumstances that infringe on the rights of people and communities to live purposeful and engaged lives in safety and peace. We deplore action that denies access to the human right to participate in chosen occupations which are the foundation of just and inclusive societies.
